
About Me
Rodolfo Benjamín Sierra Ortiz is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from the Technological Institute of Aguascalientes, and is currently obtaining his Master's Degree in Education and Virtual Learning Environments at the UCA, with which he is a candidate for a PhD in Educational Sciences. In January of 2006 to May of 2010 he served as Head of the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, and from May 2010 to November 2013 he was head of the Academic Department of Metalworking Engineering, in 2014 he was Head of the Department of Distance Education. In 2015 he served as General Coordinator of national accreditations for CACEI (Accreditation Council of Engineering Education, AC) to obtain accreditation from 2011 to 2016, and also coordinated the ABET international accreditation process for the Mechanical Engineering career 2012 - 2019, in 2014 he worked as Head of Linkage of the Office for the career of Mechanical Engineering. From 2014 to 2015 he was a member of the Industrial Advisory Board of the Mechanical Engineering Program (IAB-IM), assuming the role of secretary (Board of Accreditation of Engineering and Technology - Mechanical Engineering 2012). He is currently a member of the census of evaluators of CACEI for professional careers in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, is also a member of the College of Mechanical Engineers and Electricians of Aguascalientes AC, in 2017 he was a member of the National Association of Graduates in Administration AC, currently continuing as a full-time professor with 19 years of experience in the National System of Technological Institutes in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, teaching subjects such as Sustainable Development, Research and Project Management Workshop, collaborating in research lines participating in Research Seminars local level.
